DBA Street Series EV pads undergo post-curing using OE-style techniques to ensure optimal braking performance throughout their entire lifespan. These pads use a EV specific ceramic compound formulation, certified copper-free by NSFI to minimize dust and keep wheels clean. They are equipped with a Silver titanium stripe that improves the initial friction co-efficient during the bed-in period, come with slots, chamfers and EV-specific shims reducing vibration and noise.

DBA Street Series EV brake pads are designed for the unique braking demands of Electric and Hybrid Vehicles, that bring a shift in braking performance characteristics compared to traditional combustion engine cars. The conventional brakes on an EV operate less frequently and do not work as hard as on a ICE vehicle, resulting in lower average operating temperatures in the braking system. The DBA SS EV brake pads account for the lowering operating temperatures whilst delivering maximum stopping power. The EV-specific friction compound formulation and distinctive new shims are specifically designed to provide superior noise-reduction accommodate those requirements of modern day EV’s.
